Q: How can I volunteer with the Chapter?

All current Northern South Dakota Pheasants Forever Chapter Members are invited and encouraged to volunteer for Chapter events. Events are held all year long, depending on the time of year. Volunteer events could range from helping with a youth pheasant hunt to helping host the Spring Banquet or Fall Shoot Out. We will never turn away someone willing to help and volunteer. Q: How are Chapter funds used?

All money raised by the Northern South Dakota Pheasants Forever Chapter stays locally and helps fund Chapter activities. Chapter activities include PF Seed Distribution, Youth Pheasant Hunts and Education, Trap Team Support, Local Pollinator Projects, Mentor Learn to Hunts, Habitat Improvement Projects, Banquet Social Events, and Veteran Pheasant Hunts. Your support of the Northern South Dakota Pheasants Forever Chapter gains you a yearly membership to Pheasants Forever. Your membership provides the Pheasants Forever Journal, Membership Sticker and Card, along with the satisfaction you are supporting future pheasant habitat. Q: What is the Aberdeen Pheasant Coalition?

The Aberdeen Pheasant Coalition (APC) is a group of local businesses and organizations working to raise $100,000 to be used to provide a sign up incentive for farmers and landowners enrolling land into the USDA's CRP program and also enrolling it into the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Park's public Walk In hunting access program. At this level, we will add 4000 acres of excellent pheasant habitat open to public hunting in Brown County. The APC is being spearheaded by our local Northern South Dakota Pheasants Forever Chapter #77.
